This is a weld in kit for classis truck, and does require some fitting. This kit fits in from the firewall area back to the area where the rear suspension would attach. There are seven parts to the kit.
2 side rail double’rs. .188” steel formed, appx 80” long
1 Main X cross member with P/B booster mount and drive shaft loop
2 Front X sections with P/B linkage port and line ports
2 Rear X sections with line ports.
Installation of this kit into a stock chassis will more than triple the torsional strength of the chassis. Less flex equals a smoother ride and better handling.
An 8” booster and dual master can be mounted onto the main cross member and actuated with a push rod from the brake pedal (pedal will need to be mounted to the new rail section).
The front X sections are drilled for a transmission mount and easy fab of the trans mount. All X rails are ported for clean plumbing of brake and fuel lines.
